Personal Description:
I am a highly experienced Mathematics teacher and tutor with over 15 years of success teaching GCSE and A-Level Mathematics. Since 2010, I have been teaching at a leading independent Sixth Form colleges in Cambridge, helping students achieve excellent results and develop the confidence needed to succeed in Mathematics. I hold a Master’s degree in International Business and have extensive experience teaching Mathematics, Accounting, and Business Studies.
Over the years, I have worked with students of varying abilities, from those seeking to improve their confidence and understanding of mathematical concepts to those aiming for the highest grades and competitive university places. My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and tailored to the individual needs of each student. I believe that every student can excel in Mathematics when taught in a clear, structured, and engaging way. I focus on building strong foundations, developing problem-solving skills, and helping students master effective examination techniques. I encourage independent thinking and active participation, creating a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and tackling challenging topics.

I put a lot of emphasis on past papers and exam reports as its very important to read the examiner’s mind frame before attempting any paper. I believe that examiners understand the mind of a student through his/her written attempt, not how hard a student has worked or how impressive his subject knowledge is. In order to facilitate this, I have a vast resource of Past papers and Exam reports which prove quite conducive for my tutees.
